Description
This is a painting I did from a sketch I made in Tampa, Florida of an old Cuban man lighting a cigar. I was on vacation, and it was a carefree atmosphere, and decided to do this loose acrylic painting. This old man loves smoking cigars. In this day and age of non-smokers and electronic cigarettes, I think it was the politically incorrect statement of this that I enjoyed the most! I sure love a great cigar and when I do smoke, I prefer the Flor De Las Antillas cigars that my nephew sends me from Miami, FL. He also spends a lot of time at the Cigar Bar in Weston, FL that Jason Taylor owns. This is where I get my cigars when I do smoke them.
