This is a duck hunting painting that I did on commission for a friend of mine. His name is Don. He took this photograph at the perfect time. I wanted this oil painting to seem like the dog was about to walk right out of the painting with his duck. This hunting dog oil painting was done in a life-size piece. It’s an oil on Canvas 24×36 and it was a blast to create! This piece is sold. If you’re a fan of duck hunting paintings or any other hunting animal scenes I truly enjoy creating these pieces.
