Description
At the risk of perhaps sounding corny, every hundred times or so, when I approach the easel I will start painting and just follow the brush. It’s as though I am on automatic pilot and simply responding to the warm’s and cool’s of the various colors that take over my pallette. This particular painting lacks any type of geometrics and every shape is “Amorphous.” It’s a very cathartic way to paint on this level. This type of abstract invites the viewer to see what they may in it. The piece is a 16″ x 20″ oil on panel and it’s been done in impasto and saturated color.
