Description
Sometimes an impressionistic approach to the landscape, is to paint the quality of the light. This was a very soft defused evening light ,on the Emerald Coast. I love that time of day when everything seems to quiet down, the 5 o’clock rush is over, And the world is starting to relax a bit. With daylight savings, and a couple of hours of light, I found myself with enough time to try and capture the beauty of the moment. It was a tangerine glow coming from the clouds receiving the last light of day. I was thinking with the sounds of the crashing waves coming on to shore, the crying of the gulls, and my bare feet in the sand as I painted; it just doesn’t get any better than this! I hope you enjoy my efforts.
