Off The Trace Painting
This is a 30″ x 36″ oil on canvas called “Off The Trace” I saw this scene while driving along the Natchez Trace. It was late in the afternoon and the way the light was hitting the fall colors stopped me in my tracts . Winslow Homer called it the “golden hour”. The painting is being shown in the Louis DeAngelo gallery in Baton Rouge for the month of Oct. Click the image to see full size of this oil painting.
