Nor’easter Storm in October
New England is famous for the vast amount of nor’easter storms that whack us at a moments notice. This nor’easter storm painting was done from memory, after A drive down to Plymouth beach with my dad. We watched the crashing waves on the rocks in front of Bert’s restaurant. I recall us both getting out of the car to get some photographs. we were both dressed in Fishermen’s rain gear.
I recall the smell of the salt spray in my face, and the roar of the waves as they slammed up against the rocks, And believe all this comes into play when you paint from memory. Seascapes make up about 10% of my work. I hope you enjoy.
