Lobster Shacks Painting in Massachusetts
I just love New England and I’m a huge fan of lobsters , and there for lobster shacks intrigue me as well. This was done on location across from Plymouth beach in Plymouth, MA. I painted these back in the Ice Age. There were colorful lobster bouys peppered on the sides of the buildings. It was incredibly overgrown but there was still a sense of a forgotten time. I spend time painting on location every time I go back to Massachusetts.
My nephew spends a lot more time up in Plymouth, MA and he sends a lot of photos to me. I love getting these photos. It’s a way for me to keep in the loop when I’m not able to get back there.
