Description
This is a 16″ x 20″ oil on panel of a decaying warehouse doorway. These subjects are not as uplifting as perhaps a beautiful bouquet of flowers or a lovely sunset, but they deliver a different emotion somewhat nostalgic and perhaps melancholy. This is the first in a series of “Ugly Paintings” I am working on. The piece is titled “Forgotten Doorway.”
