I find myself halfway through winter thinking about the beach a lot, this past weekend I gave a workshop on the Alabama coast, and though it was a somewhat gray day, I found folks frolicking on the beach and having a great time.
It was nice and warm and there was an Energy at the beach that I loved. I tried to capture the moment on this 12 x 16 oil on panel titled, “Beach Day Gray.”
As an artist, I have been blessed with the ability to transform and create an environment on canvas that I would like to be in. This is one of those times.
