Hello everyone! This is my favorite time of year to go painting outdoors on location. I love the Fall colors , and I look forward to this every year. I have been painting for over 63 years, and I would like to start to share some of my painting tips with my fellow artist, and collectors.
Today’s tip is about painting outdoors and the color green. When you go on location and view the scene you are about to paint, you will be able to count a dozen different greens. These greens a mixed by different combinations of blue and yellow, and yellow and black, as well as the tube colors you may buy. Varying the different greens in the painting, and adding some complementary reds, will give a more realistic and exciting painting. I hope you find this helpful!
See you next time, G
