Good morning everyone! I wanted to let you all know that I will be holding a plein air painting workshop in the near future.
This is going to be a plein air workshop, Saturday and Sunday, April 16 and 17th. It will include the basics of on location painting techniques…instruction in color, design, composition and how to get the most of being on location. This is an intense, straight forward approach and I will answer any and all questions regarding plein air painting.
We will paint the beautiful Mississippi landscapes that surround my studio in Bailey. My mission statement is to teach as much as possible in a 2 day workshop and send each and every student away with a better understanding of what plein air painting is all about. The workshop will include painting demonstrations, critiques, group and individual instruction. A block of rooms at a local hotel will be reserved at a discount. There is limited enrollment so reserve your place now. The workshop is $200 plus your hotel room with a nonrefundable deposit of $100. Upon enrollment, a materials list and hotel information will be provided. SIGN UP NOW – limited enrollment.
Hi Greg! I am a friend of Julie and Bruce. I just saw your plein air workshop, and may try to work that out.
However, I have a different question. I know you did one of the carousel horses for Meridian. I have been commissioned to do a “rooster” for the City of Forest by a bank. I have no idea what to charge. I hope that you can guide me a little, since you probably know what the range was for the Meridian horses.
Thanks so much!
Susan Wellington
